Hi, I'm Shanshan, founder of Homecoming.

For much of my life, I felt caught between two worlds. There was the life I thought I was supposed to build, working hard, chasing opportunities, and following the path that made sense, and then there was the quiet part of me that longed for more freedom, adventure, and a life that truly felt like my own.

Growing up in China and later building a life in the United States, I spent years responding to whatever life placed in front of me. Navigating immigration, building a career, and creating a life in a new country taught me resilience, but it also showed me how easy it is to become so busy living that we stop asking ourselves what kind of life we actually want to create.

Everything changed when I began intentionally creating space to pause.

Through travel, meaningful conversations, and immersion in different cultures, I discovered that stepping into a new environment often changes the way we see ourselves. Some of life's most important questions become easier to explore when we step outside the momentum of our everyday routines. That realization became Homecoming.

Today, I design gatherings, cultural retreats, and transformational experiences that invite people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and intentionally create what's next. I believe culture is one of our greatest teachers—not because it gives us the answers, but because it offers us new perspectives that help us better understand ourselves.

I also believe everyone has a story worth sharing. Some of the most meaningful moments in my life have come from witnessing another person's journey and feeling witnessed in return. Those moments remind me that while each of us walks a unique path, we were never meant to walk it alone.

My hope is simple: that every person who joins a Homecoming experience leaves with greater clarity, deeper connection, and the confidence to create a life that feels more fully their own.

Hi, I’m Chris (CT) Trammell, Program Development Director at Homecoming Co., a proud listener and supporter of ShanShan Li’s vision, and a transformational catalyst for personal growth. With over 20 years as a track and field coach, 2x Ironman finisher, and 15 years of experience as a life science and wildlife educator, my life has been devoted to helping others achieve their “podium moments.”

What’s a “podium moment,” you ask? It’s that incredible experience of being seen, acknowledged, and celebrated for the unique commitment you bring to the world.

When the pandemic disrupted the familiar rhythms of life, I merged my expertise in curriculum development, performance coaching, and transformational education to help coaches, consultants, and emerging thought leaders create impactful programs that inspire and uplift others.

At Homecoming Co., I channel my passion for people and the interconnected biosphere we share into helping individuals shine their brightest light. There’s no greater fulfillment than seeing someone recognize their potential as a beacon of purpose and mission, radiating their message for others to follow or find groundedness in.
